Inkjet Roll Label Printers
Primera desktop inkjet roll label printers have recently started to become very popular due to the advancements in inkjet ink formulas, increased availability, options on inkjet printable label stock and lower cost of the printers themselves.
There are many advantages to printing your own labels.
- Printing on Demand
Probably the biggest of these would be the "Print on Demand" capabilities that having your own roll inkjet printer provides. Need a label fast? When you own the printer, time is never an issue.
- Versatility
One of the drawbacks for getting labels printed from an outside source is the minimums needed per copy. Let's say you need to label 500 candle jars and you need to label 50 each with 10 different scent names on them. Going through traditional web printers, you would most likely have to order a minimum of 500 labels per scent. That's 5000 labels you would have to purchase to label just 500 items!
- Label Size Capability
Primera offers printers that can handle a large range of label sizes from labels as thin as 0.5" up to labels with a width of 8.5". Need to purchase rolls of continuous labels with no gaps so that you can cut your own specific size? Primera has printers with this capability as well. Remember to always check which way the label is oriented on the roll to make sure it will print according to your printer guidelines. At LaserInkjetLabels, we always provide a detailed image of our layout while consistantly calling out the width of the label first followed by the length of the label into the rolls. So if you see a 2" x 6" roll label on our site, you will know that the roll is set up with the labels going 2" across the width and 6" into the roll.
Short Run vs Long Run
