Label rewind direction describes how printed labels are arranged on a roll and presented as the roll unwinds. It includes whether the labels face inside or outside the roll and which edge of the printed design feeds first. These details matter when a roll is used with a label applicator or other equipment that expects a particular orientation.
Use the chart above to compare winding and feed directions, then confirm the requirement with your equipment supplier before ordering. Describe the orientation in relation to the printed artwork as well as the roll. Check core size and outside roll diameter separately, since a matching rewind direction alone does not establish equipment compatibility.
